A cable penetration passes through a minimum four and one-half inch thick lightweight or normal weight concrete floor or five inch thick concrete wall. The penetration accommodates a nominal six inch diameter or smaller schedule forty steel electrical metallic tubing, conduit, or pipe, which may be optionally grouted flush with the assembly. The annular space is packed firmly with mineral wool insulation to a depth with a minimum one inch dimension and a three inch minimum thickness. The opening contains up to one hundred pair number twenty-four AWG cables occupying ten to forty percent of the aggregate cross-sectional area, finished with Proform Quick-Set FS-90 compound in accordance with tested UL assembly C-AJ-3073.
