Cold-formed steel structural framing, minimum twenty gauge thickness, supports ceiling sheathing provided by others. A Knotwood cladding clip (KAOCC45) secures through the sheathing into the steel framing using a number ten minimum clip fastener. The cladding panel (KEC150) attaches to the clip, with the edge finished by two specific cladding flashings (KECFBF and KECFTTLM) at the wall interface. The wall assembly includes sheathing and fastens to the structural framing with number ten fasteners spaced at thirty-two inches on center maximum, typical into the stud. A three-eighths inch typical clearance is maintained at the flashing edge.
