A concrete tilt-up panel bears above a fourteen-gauge cold-rolled hollow metal door frame at the door head. Wire tee frame anchors are installed at thirty-two inches on center into the concrete panel. A three-quarter-inch typical chamfer shapes the concrete edge above the frame. A metal drip shield is installed at the door head and painted to match the door frame, with joint caulk applied typically. A hollow metal door is installed per the door schedule with no open seams to the weather.
