A structural brace frames into a cold-formed steel partition at a vertical plenum. The partition is constructed with three-and-five-eighths-inch cold-formed steel tracks located above and below the brace, faced with five-eighths-inch gypsum board. A three-quarter-inch joint filled with caulk is detailed at the structural brace interface.
