An isometric detail of a two-piece stainless steel sheet metal flashing collar with soldered seams for a vent penetration. The assembly consists of a lower one-piece stainless steel flashing component and an upper one-piece stainless steel flashing component that fits over it with a minimum six-inch vertical dimension verified in field per vent duct details. All seams and miter joints are soldered typically. The upper piece slides down over the lower piece to create a weather-resistant sleeve around the duct opening.
