A patient lift support system is suspended from an overhead metal deck with a total weight capacity of four hundred pounds live load and fifty pounds equipment. The assembly utilizes Unistrut P1000HS channels anchored perpendicular to the deck using one-half-inch diameter Simpson Strong-Bolt 2 anchors with four-and-a-half-inch embedment centered in the low flute. Unistrut P1000 diagonal braces are positioned at each end and spaced at ten feet on center maximum, connected with one-half-inch diameter A307 bolts. Transverse diagonal bracing is installed in the plane of the hangers at each end and centered between ends using Unistrut P2485 channels at the top and bottom spaced at thirty-six inches on center maximum with three minimum. Hex nuts are provided above and below for adjustment, and Unistrut P2265 fittings are used at each end typical.
