A roof drain and overflow drain assembly is set into a built-up roof over plywood sheathing and structural framing. The assembly features two-by-eight minimum framing members alongside two-by-six minimum framing secured with ten-penny nails spaced at six inches on center staggered. A four-pound lead flashing sheet is set into roof cement over the installed base sheet. A cant strip is provided at the perimeter, with a minimum five-inch clearance to the drain dome. The top of the overflow shield extends two inches above the roof deck minimum, and thirty-inch square sumps accommodate the drains.
