This assembly features a four-inch diameter slot drain anchored to an eighteen-inch by three-and-a-half-inch continuous concrete base. The drain is equipped with threaded rods for vertical adjustment and is encased in concrete for stabilization. A heavy-duty stainless steel flange sits flush with the finished surface, flanked by six-inch by nine-inch concrete pavers in a soldier course configuration. The pavers are set on a continuous mortar bed over two inches of sand, with polymerized jointing sand filling the gaps. The surrounding sub-base consists of six inches of compacted stone over filter fabric, resting on compacted native soil.
