An approved waste air gap fitting is mounted on the countertop within a maximum distance of thirty inches from sink S-1. Internal piping connects the dishwasher located under the counter to the air gap fitting. A sink with a countertop and a P-trap connected to the sanitary waste line completes the under-counter plumbing configuration.
