This assembly consists of a wood door frame installed within a gypsum wall partition. The gypsum board terminates at a metal F-reveal, creating a one-quarter inch typical reveal gap between the wall finish and the door frame. The wood door frame measures two and one-quarter inches in depth from the reveal to the door stop, with an additional one-half inch stop depth. The door is installed as scheduled, and all exposed surfaces are finished with paint per the project schedule.
