A hollow metal door and frame threshold bears directly on a concrete slab on grade, maintaining a maximum one-half inch clearance. The exterior side features a concrete pad or sidewalk provided by others, adjacent to a concrete panel foundation. The door bottom is sized per the door schedule. Interior and exterior floor transitions are detailed at the threshold interface.
