A four-by-eight cedar fence post is secured to an eight-inch square concrete footing via a steel post bracket. The bracket is embedded into the concrete footing, which extends two feet six inches below grade. The post is bolted through the bracket assembly. A maximum four-inch clearance is maintained between the finished grade and the bottom of the galvanized steel bar grating, with ground cover specified per the landscape plan.
