The assembly incorporates 1-1/2-inch by 1-1/2-inch 20-gauge minimum clips secured with 1-inch shaft liner, with fasteners spaced at 24 inches on center. J-runners receive a continuous bed of sealant at partition junctions, and spray-applied fireproofing is applied to structural steel elements on the elevator shaft side.
