Metal counterflashing is anchored into the vertical wall assembly and terminates over a reinforced membrane. A bead of sealant is applied at the top edge per the manufacturer instructions. The reinforced membrane is adhered to the substrate using a bonding adhesive installed per the manufacturer recommendations.
