A WT4x33.5 structural tee is placed as a shim atop a wide flange beam, carrying a concrete slab over metal deck with a shear stud. The tee is welded to the beam flange with a quarter-inch fillet weld spaced at three inches on center with twelve-inch intermittent length, noted as unless otherwise noted. A DB beam sits below, providing the primary structural support for the assembly.
