A ten-inch thick tilt-up concrete wall panel connects to a sandwich wall panel featuring an eight-inch concrete wythe, three-inch semi-rigid insulation, and a three-inch concrete backing layer. A three-quarter-inch joint space between the panels is sealed with backer rod and joint sealant. The interior assembly consists of three-and-five-eighths-inch metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center, left uninsulated, with a three-eighths-inch air cavity and five-eighths-inch gypsum wallboard facing.
