A transition manifold and pipe curb penetration passes through a concrete walk, incorporating a schedule for drain sizes, inside diameter pipes, and rectangular sections. A thickened concrete walk of nine inches features six by six inch ten gauge welded wire mesh centered between the top of the walk and the top of the pipe, extending two feet beyond the pipe on each side. An eighth-inch asphalt impregnated sheathing is cut to fit and surrounds the pipe, typical at all pipe-curb penetrations. The concrete walk is sloped at an eighth-inch per foot minimum. Rebar measuring four feet long is placed at the pipe-curb penetration, and a quarter-inch galvanized steel angle extends a minimum of four inches each way of the manifold. A two-inch minimum ground cover berms up at the drain pipe, maintaining a three-inch minimum cover at a minimum distance of four feet from the walk.
