A four-inch minimum concrete slab rests over a gas-permeable aggregate layer that is approximately four inches thick, underlain by a non-woven geotextile and a prepared subgrade. A concrete tie beam is embedded within the subgrade beneath the aggregate layer. The assembly incorporates a multi-layer gas vapor barrier system comprising a VI-20 geomembrane base course, sixty mils of Liquid Boot dry gas vapor barrier, and an Ultrashield G-1000 top protection course.
