The curtain wall head assembly integrates with a painted perforated metal panel and a continuous twenty-two gauge metal flashing and drip edge designed to match the panel. An air barrier is installed into the head above the curtain wall frame, with continuous backer rod and sealant providing a weather seal. Starter metal furring with a cleat supports the exterior panel system, spaced and dimensioned with shims as shown. A metal jamb extends beyond the head frame.
