Knotwood 6-inch cladding panels (KEC150) are secured to light-gauge steel ceiling framing. Cladding clips (KAOCC45) are fastened to the steel studs using number 10 fasteners, with additional blocking provided as required. The perimeter edge is finished with cladding flashings (KECFBF and KECFTTLM) secured to the adjacent wall structure using number 10 fasteners spaced at a maximum of 32 inches on center. Ceiling sheathing is installed above the cladding system, supported by the framing structure provided by others.
