A recessed ceiling coffer is framed with metal studs and faced with half-inch gypsum board with corner beads on both sides. The coffer framing incorporates a drop dimension of six inches and a clear coffer width of one foot one and one-eighth inches. Adjacent to the gypsum board bulkhead, the assembly transitions to wood slat ceiling panels as located per the reflected ceiling plan.
