A scheduled partition framing member connects to a portal header utilizing a three-quarter-inch MT25 steel plate secured with countersunk screws. The assembly is aligned with the rear of the plate matching the portal header above, spaced one and one-half inches and four inches respectively. Metal framing supports scheduled tile set in a thinset mortar bed over the partition finish.
