An open shelving millwork unit features a plastic laminate frame supported above the floor with a rubber base applied with adhesive. The top consists of a scheduled countertop installed over a three-quarter-inch substrate. Interior adjustable shelves feature three-millimeter PVC edge banding and rest on standard shelf supports within the plastic laminate frame. The overall assembly rests on the finished floor and is anchored to the wall per architectural specifications.
