A 5/8-inch gypsum board is framed over 3 5/8-inch 20-gauge metal studs spaced at 16 inches on center, extending up to the structure above. The assembly includes a dropped soffit with a height of 2 feet and a 9-inch dimension, with elevations coordinated per the reflected ceiling plan. Tile finishes are applied to the face of the partition per interior elevations and the reflected ceiling plan. Bottom of gypsum board, bottom of acoustic ceiling tile, and bottom of soffit elevations are coordinated with the reflected ceiling plan.
