A steel channel stair stringer is supported by a four-by-four-by-one-quarter-inch steel angle welded to the stringer. The steel angle is bolted to the concrete foundation using a one-half-inch-diameter by three-and-three-quarter-inch wedge anchor. The concrete foundation includes reinforcing steel as detailed. The assembly provides structural support for the stair stringer at its base connection.
