A six-inch nominal diameter galvanized standard weight schedule forty steel pipe acts as the bollard core and is filled entirely with concrete. The top of the steel pipe receives a one-inch concrete dome. The bollard extends down into a concrete footing sized for an eighteen-inch frost depth unless noted otherwise. The exterior of the pipe receives yellow paint unless noted otherwise. Site paving or grade transitions occur around the lower portion of the bollard as specified on the site plan.
