An insulated steel sectional door header and jamb interface incorporating a three-eighths-inch bent plate jamb guard anchored back to the wall structure with one-half-inch diameter wedge anchors spaced at twenty-four inches on center. The jamb guard extends to plus four feet zero inches and is finished with two coats of safety yellow gloss enamel paint. A heavy-duty track supports the door mechanism, while a continuous weather seal runs all around the perimeter.
