This interior partition detail consists of a cold-formed steel stud framed with gypsum wallboard on both faces. The wall assembly features two layers of gypsum wallboard on one side and a single layer on the opposite side. A drawing note indicates that the wall tag is placed in plan on the side of the wall with the extra gypsum wallboard layer.
