This non-rated acoustical partition consists of metal studs framed with acoustical insulation placed within the cavity. One layer of one-half-inch fire-retardant-treated plywood backing is applied to the framing for structural support and surface attachment. A finish layer of gypsum board is installed over the plywood backing to complete the assembly.
