An eight-inch standard steel pipe is filled with concrete and surrounded by welded reinforcing bars. Four number four reinforcing bars are placed against the exterior of the pipe and secured with fillet welds. Dimension callouts specify a two-inch spacing and three-inch spacing for the bar configuration.
