Two coats of W.R. Meadows 1100-clear curing compound are applied between the concrete and econocrete layers. The contraction joint features a one-quarter to three-eighths inch fuel resistant joint sealant over a backer rod, finished with a one-quarter inch by one-quarter inch radius or bevel at the surface. Contraction joints are spaced at an average of twelve and a half feet per plan.
