A conduit or condensate line is secured over a redwood blocking assembly using a loose-fit galvanized metal strap with lag screws. The four-by-four-by-six-inch redwood block is spaced at four to ten feet on center and bedded in plastic cement over a half-inch minimum roof protection material. The protective pad extends a minimum of two inches beyond the wood blocking on all sides.
