A six-inch partition scheduled with cement board on the garage side meets the floor slab where traffic coating is applied. Flexible flashing tape seals the transition, reinforced by a sealant cant bead. A galvanized steel angle, minimum six inches high, anchors at the slab edge with the anchor coordinated with the structural engineer.
