This wall section details the sill condition for a mechanical louver mounted above an insulated concealed fastener metal panel system and box beam framing. A continuous sill pan flashing with an end dam returns at the cavity, bedded above a prefinished sill extrusion and continuous sealant. Shims and continuous sealant provide installation adjustment and weather sealing at the louver base. Support angles and anchors are provided by the cold-formed metal subcontractor to secure the mechanical louvers to the backup structure. The interior side features cold-formed metal framing filled with insulation and finished with five-eighths inch gypsum board.
