A laminated glazing unit is secured within a stainless steel glass shoe, which is enclosed by stainless steel shoe cladding. The assembly rests over a mortar substrate for flashing, protected by a stainless steel sheet metal flashing with adhered sheet membrane waterproofing. A sealant on a backer rod and joint filler seals the interface at the base. The waterproofing membrane extends down the vertical substrate, secured with a termination bar set in sealant.
