An intermediate stair landing meets the base of a stair run with a C12 steel channel stringer extending below. The stair guardrail incorporates a two-inch by one-half-inch flat bar with eased edges, pre-drilled for one-half-inch outside diameter pickets spaced at four inches on center. Pickets are welded to the bottom rail with welds ground smooth on the underside. Additional two-inch by one-half-inch flat plates are positioned at the landing edge and beyond.
