A premanufactured membrane flashing boot wraps around a roof penetration with a diameter ranging from one-quarter inch to six and one-quarter inches, maintaining a minimum eight-inch height above the roof surface. Silicone sealant is installed between the penetration and the premanufactured flashing membrane, secured with a stainless steel drawband and sealed at the top edge. The vapor barrier is flashed and sealed to the penetration, while the base of the flashing membrane ties into the roof assembly over metal deck and insulation.
