A precast concrete curb rests on a gravel subbase over a prepared subgrade, featuring a three-foot-six-inch deep concrete footing supporting a square ornamental metal fence post set in non-shrink grout. The post is centered within a twelve-inch wide footing and surrounded by a mortar setting bed, precast concrete planter curb, and finish grade pitched at one-quarter inch per foot. Three-eighths inch max sealed mortar joints span between precast concrete curb segments with color selected by the landscape architect. Reinforcing is provided by the fabricator as indicated in the panel.
