A hollow metal door frame profile is installed within a gypsum wallboard partition assembly maintaining a maximum one-eighth-inch clearance per NFPA 80. Steel anchors secure the frame with a minimum of two one-inch long steel screws per anchor. Gypsum wallboard penetrates a minimum of one-half inch per NFPA 80 requirements. The door operates with a maximum three-quarter-inch clearance at the sill per NFPA 80.
