A precast concrete panel connects to a continuous metal stud framing assembly using powder-driven shot pins and continuous tracks. The 362 S137-54 backing member attaches to the precast concrete panel with 0.180-inch diameter power-driven shot pins spaced at eight inches on center with one-inch embedment. Plywood sheathing fastens with number eight screws at varying spacings across the top and front. An HSS continuous member aligns with the framing plan and anchors adjacent to the 362 S125-43 continuous track. An alternate connection utilizes a sixteen gauge clip angle measuring three inches long at each stud with three number ten screws and three 0.177-inch diameter shot pins.
