Stone flooring transitions to an adjacent finish floor over a structural concrete slab. The assembly rests on a concrete slab with a recessed pocket supporting a mortar setting bed and stone flooring. A one-eighth-inch-wide nickel-silver divider strip separates the stone flooring from the adjacent finish floor specified in the finish schedule.
