Two layers of 5/8-inch Type X glass-mat faced exterior gypsum board are installed on each side at the top and bottom of the framed wall assembly. A self-adhering waterproof flashing is applied over the weather resistant barrier. A backer rod and sealant joint are provided adjacent to the framed opening similar to the adjacent conditions. Exterior finishes are installed per the elevations.
