Electrical outlets are installed with sealant around the perimeter and staggered twenty-four inches minimum where practical to maintain acoustic performance. When staggering is not practical, outlets are placed in separate stud bays or equipped with putty pads. Acoustic notes govern additional information and requirements for the wall assembly.
