The assembly consists of interior metal studs faced with drywall on both sides at a partition corner junction. Metal corner reinforcement is applied to all inside corners, and metal corner bead is installed on all outside corners. A steel stud is located at the abutting wall to allow the drywall to extend through, and attachment is made through the drywall to the adjacent stud typically.
