A quarter-inch by ten-inch steel stringer bears above a concrete slab, anchored by a continuous three-by-three-by-quarter-inch angle running between stringers. The angle is secured to the concrete using two five-eighths-inch by six-inch Hilti KB-TZ expansion anchors. The angle connects to the stringer via a three-sixteenths-inch fillet weld with a two-and-a-half-inch spacing. The leading edge of the stair nosing is positioned one and a quarter inches from the face.
