This two-hour exterior wall partition consists of metal studs framed with one layer of five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board on the exterior side and two layers of five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board on the interior side. Batt insulation is installed within the six-inch stud cavity where required. Rigid insulation is applied continuously over the exterior gypsum sheathing. The exterior finish utilizes fiber cement panel cladding mounted on Z-clip channels, with channels painted black typically.
