A storefront mullion attaches to four-inch king studs with a one-quarter-inch shim space. Recessed fire caulking is applied to both sides of the jamb assembly. One-quarter-inch laminated storefront glazing is secured within the aluminum framing member. A one-and-three-quarter-inch mullion extends beyond the primary connection point.
