The plumbing vent stack penetrates the roof deck, thermal insulation, and coverboard insulation layers. A pre-molded TPO membrane large pipe flashing is installed over the penetration and secured to the field TPO roof membrane with a two-inch minimum welded splice. A one-inch stainless steel clamping ring secures the top of the flashing boot to the vent stack. A continuous bead of single-ply membrane sealant is applied around the top of the clamping ring and tooled to facilitate water run-off.
