The storefront head is anchored to preservative-treated wood blocking, which is secured to the interior face of the tilt-up concrete monolithic panel. Foil-faced polyisocyanurate board insulation is installed between the concrete panel and the interior five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum board finish. A sheet metal flashing spans the gap between the storefront head and the concrete panel, sealed with continuous sealant and a backer rod. The concrete panel features a chamfer strip at the exterior corner, and the storefront system is installed as scheduled.
