An interior partition wall terminates perpendicular to an exterior wall system, finished with gypsum board as scheduled on the partition type sheet. Tape and joint compound finish the internal corners where the partition framing meets the exterior wall lining. An optional flexible sealant bead fills the narrow gap at the perimeter edge against the exterior assembly.
